Biography

Yang Zengjie, MD, PhD, is Associate Chief Physician in the Ninth Department of Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. In 1999, he graduated from Beijing Medical University (now Peking University Health Science Center) with a major in Clinical Medicine. In 2005, he received his master's degree in Plastic Surgery from Peking Union Medical College. His research direction is tissue transplantation and organ reconstruction. In 2014, he completed his PhD in Plastic Surgery at Peking Union Medical College. He has been engaged in clinical practice, research, and teaching at the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Peking Union Medical College (PUMC). He mainly focuses on tissue transplantation, organ reconstruction, liposuction, and autologous fat transplantation. He serves as a council member of the Beauty and Regenerative Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, a member of the Plastic Surgery Safety Professional Committee of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, and a Beijing Medical Aesthetics Attending Physician. He has published multiple SCI papers and papers in core journals.  
Areas of Expertise: Treatment of various scars, treatment of refractory wounds, sequential treatment of cleft lip and palate, and treatment of congenital speech and articulation disorders; liposuction, autologous fat grafting for breast augmentation, facial contour sculpting, and facial rejuvenation surgery.
